Udupi, Dec 11: District in-charge minister V Sunil Kumar on Saturday December 11 directed officials to achieve 90% coverage of the second dose of vaccines for all above 18 years by December end to effectively contain the spread of the third wave of Covid-19.

He said, “Already, the district has achieved 95%vaccination of the first dose. Identify those people who are eligible for the second dose of vaccination and those who have not received the second dose in spite of their time having crossed and vaccinate them. Senior officers should visit the places where people refuse to get vaccinated and convince them to get vaccinated. Everyone should work to complete 90% coverage of the second dose of vaccines by December end.”
