Mangaluru, Dec 11: A retaining wall collapsed at Krishnanagar, Bondel in the outskirts of the city here on Saturday, December 11.
A woman and a child who got buried under a huge heap of mud were rescued.
The condition of the woman is said to be serious. The child is reportedly out of danger.
The incident took place while Mangaluru City Corporation authorities were carrying out work under the Jalasiri project in Krishnanagar. The woman and child hail from Uttar Kannada.
