Bommai to remain CM till 2023: Central Minister

Basavaraj Bommai, who will complete five months as the CM of Karnataka in a few days will continue as CM till the 2023 elections. Union Minister Pralhad Joshi said ‘Karnataka Government delivering well under Bommai.’ This stifles the rumours of a change in guard after Bommai turned emotional in a rally in his hometown and said that ‘he is aware of the fact that post and positions were not forever.’ Joshi also called the rumours of a change in leadership of the southern state ‘false rumours’ and ‘conspiracies.’ Basavaraj Bommai was sworn in as the CM of Karnataka after his predecessor B.S. Yediyurappa resigned from the most after rumoured conflicts with the party.
