A passenger who arrived at the airport here from Ghana on Friday December 17 tested positive for Covid19. This has given rise to worries about the omicron variant of the deadly virus spreading its wings in coastal Karnataka.
Ghana has been treated as a ‘high risk’ nation and the passenger referred above tested positive in the rapid RT-PCR test conducted at the airport.
